In October 2011 the National Joint Council changed States from New South Wales to Victoria.
This happens each three years when a new committee is formed to take responsibility as the executive body of NSGFA. The Chairman is Barbara Dean the Australian Trefoil Guild Adviser. The Vice Chairman is Greg Davies, Australian Baden Powell Guild Master. The Secretary is Yvonne James. The Treasurer is Richard Stuart-Smith. The Publicity officer is Ann Taylor. The position of International Secretary is vacant.
The committee have experienced a busy year with the reformation of the ASPac Region; Australia hosting the 27th ISGF World Conference and the resignation of Irene Kerry in February 2013. The role of International Secretary has been shared by Yvonne James and I as this position remains vacant. The current representation on the executive committee is two B-P Guild members and three Trefoil Guild members.
This month we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the ISGF and hope that your guild has celebration plans in place.
Incorporation remains high on our action list and should be completed by this 2013 AGM.
